My Story...

 A little about me...

​My name is Chelsey Reagan. I am married to the love of my life Marcus Reagan, we have no children (yet). I live one day at a time and put my focus on Jesus Christ, He is my priority. I attend church at Pathways SKC. I love helping people and letting Christ's love shine through me. I work at Shannondale Healthcare Facility (a nursing home in West Knox). I have a HUGE family and we are all very close. I love iced coffee, cold weather, camping, good movies & books, fireplaces, hoodies, food, foreign languages and of course photography!

How It Began...

​

When I was very young (and before I was born), my father had a 35mm and was always taking pictures. As a child, I would always borrow his camera to take pictures of my own. When I was a Freshman in highschool, I began dabbling more seriously into photography. I eventually became co-founder of the high school photography club and the co-photographer and editor for the video year book. Friends and family began asking me to take their portraits and my little business took off from there. Ive taken classes at The University of Tennessee for photography and plan on continuing with my certificate eventually. However, to me, photography isnt something you can be taught. Photography comes from a part of your soul and the roots of your creativness. A photograph can be technically incorrect, but still be a beautiful photograph. But, a photo can be right as rain technically, and be the ugliest picture youve ever seen without the creative eye. To me a picture is worth more than just a thousand words, a picture is a portal to the past. It is a memory that can last many lifetimes.
